2014 pricing:
Quarter: $3.65/# hanging weight including all processing and delivery
Side: $3.40/# hanging weight including all processing and delivery
Pick it up yourself at the processor and receive $30 discount/quarter or $50 discount/side.
For quarters and sides you buy the beef before it is processed. The actual weight of the packaged meat you would receive is approximately 55-65% of the hanging weight (depending on bone in or out cuts). The hanging weight of our quarters are approximately 180 lbs (+ or - 20#) or approximately 110 lbs packaged meat. This works out to approximately $657 or $5.97/lb packaged meat for everything from Tenderloin Fillets to Sirloin Tip Roast to Ground Beef including processing and local delivery.
We deliver up to 100 miles away from Brodhead, WI. I believe you will find our prices to be very competitive and quality far superior to that of the supermarket. The processor will walk through all of the cutting details so you know exactly what you are getting. Typically, a quarter will require about four cubic feet of storage in your freezer and feed a family of four for a year.
